Who I am
This policy explains what personal information Mile C Beauty collects when you use this website or book a service, how it is used, who it is shared with, and what choices you have. Mile C Beauty is a permanent makeup studio at 28 Wall St, Rockaway, NJ 07866, run by Milena ("I", "me", "my").

What I collect
When you book
Your name, email address and phone number, the service and time you choose, and your answers to the health and skin questions on the booking form. These questions cover things like allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding, medications, skin conditions, recent Botox or fillers, and previous permanent makeup. I ask them only to decide whether a service is safe for you.
When you write to me
The details you send by email, WhatsApp, Instagram or phone, including photos of your brows, lips or eyes if you choose to share them.
When you join the email list
Your email address, and a record of when you agreed to receive emails. When you sign up, the website also records technical details of the signup, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you used. All of this is stored in the private administration area of the website, so I can manage the list and prove your consent.
When you visit the website
Technical and usage data, such as your device and browser type, approximate location, pages viewed, and how you moved through the site. See "Cookies and measurement tools" below.
At your appointment
Your signed consent form and, with your permission, before and after photos of your work.
How I use it
- To schedule, confirm and remind you of your appointment, and to send you aftercare instructions.
- To decide whether a service is safe for you and to keep a record of what was done.
- To answer your messages.
- To send the monthly email, only if you signed up for it.
- To understand how the website is used and to improve it.
- To measure whether my ads work, if you accept marketing cookies.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising.
Health information
Your answers to the health and skin questions are used only to plan and perform your service safely. I do not send them to advertising tools, and I do not use them to market to you.
I am a permanent makeup artist, not a healthcare provider covered by HIPAA. That is why I explain here, in plain terms, how I handle this information: it is kept in my booking system and my private records, and only I can access it.
Emails and text messages
I send appointment confirmations and reminders because you booked. These are service messages.
I send marketing emails, at most one a month, only if you signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and I honor it within 10 business days, as the CAN-SPAM Act requires. You can also reply and ask me to remove you.
If text message reminders are turned on, I send them only to the number you gave when booking and only for your appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop them.
Photos of your work
I publish before and after photos on the website and social media only with your written permission, which I ask for separately from your booking. Saying no has no effect on your service or price.
You can withdraw permission at any time by writing to milecbeauty@gmail.com. I will remove the photo from the website and my social accounts as soon as I can. I cannot recall copies that others have already saved or shared.
How long I keep it
Booking details, consent forms and health questionnaires are kept for up to 3 years after your last appointment, so I can follow up on healing, touch ups and any question about your service. After that I delete them, unless the law requires me to keep them longer. Email list subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept for the period set in each tool, which is usually 14 months or less.
Your choices and rights
You can ask me to tell you what information I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Write to milecbeauty@gmail.com. I will confirm your identity and reply within 45 days.
New Jersey has a data privacy law, and I follow its principles of access, correction, deletion and choice even though a studio of my size is below the thresholds that make the law mandatory. If I deny a request, I will tell you why. You may also contact the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs at njconsumeraffairs.gov.
Security
I use reputable providers, password protected accounts and secure connections (HTTPS). No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your information, I will notify you and the authorities as New Jersey law requires.
Children
My services are for adults 18 and older, and this website is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent me information, contact me and I will delete it.
Other websites
This site links to Calendly, Google Maps, Instagram and WhatsApp. They have their own privacy policies, and I am not responsible for them.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Material changes will also be announced on the website.
